Mobile Vet Clinic
We strive to provide as complete a service as possible in a home and mobile environment. So as well as consultations, vaccines, medication, prescription diets and lab testing we also provide dental and surgical facilities for both routine and emergency operations.
We try and keep our consults stress free and usually budget about 20-30 minutes to allow the animals to become comfortable with us examining them (and administering treatments/injections etc) in their environment. This also allows us to time to discuss the relevant problem(s) and collect a more complete history.

Our Services
Home Visits
Our base rate is $136 for a call out. Any additional animals (for the same owner) are $84.00 Mileage is shared between calls.

Pet Vaccinations
Ensuring your pet is promptly vaccinated is important for the health of your pet. If you are planning to put your pet into a kennel or cattery while on holiday most will require your pet to be vaccinated too. Talk to us today to discuss which vaccinations your pet requires and we'll come out and administer them at your place, providing a quick and convenient way to get your pet vaccinated.
Pet Euthanasia
Having to put down your pet can be a stressful and emotional time. We can take a little bit of that away by coming to your home where you and your pet are in familiar surroundings. Our process ensures your pet remains relaxed throughout the process and it is generally very peaceful and quick. We can also take your pet away and organise cremation for you, or you can bury at home.
Pet Microchipping
Your pet is part of the family and losing them can be devastating. Unfortunately, pets cannot tell someone who finds them where they live. By microchipping your pet, you are giving them the best chance to find their way home should they become lost and lose their collar or tags. Most SPCAs, vets and pounds have microchip scanners to identify your pet’s microchip number.
We charge $99 inc GST + shared mileage for a microchip to go on the New Zealand Companion Animal Register which is voluntary.
Alternatively, it is $79 inc GST + shared mileage without putting them on the register (i.e. microchipping for the council, or microchip cat door/microchip food bowl or similar).
Surgery and Dentals
Surgery and Dental rates vary with procedure, species and size. We do both emergency and routine surgeries. If you have a procedure in mind we can certainly make an estimate for you or recommend a suitable surgeon or specialist for bigger operations.
