Protein source: dehydrated chicken meat, dehydrated whole eggs. Urine acidifier: calcium sulphate dihydrate (5g/kg).

MODE OF ACTION

Additional calcium sulphate creates and maintains an acid pH which helps the dissolution and inhibits the neo-formation of struvite crystals. Furthermore, it creates an unfavourable environment for the proliferation of bacteria. Combined with the low concentrations of proteins, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium RSS is effectively reduced, lowering the risk of crystal formation.
